Wednesday and Working

If you have not seen the title, today is Wednesday 26 July 2017, and I am busy working on the Jack Fawsitt Photography website.

To be honest, not much has occurred on the blog, but I had an eventful beginning of the week on my YouTube Channel.

I received a notification on my phone earlier in the week, saying that one of my videos had a copyright claim on it. To be fair, the claim did not affect the standing of my channel, nor did the claim block the video from being seen on YouTube. However, it did block embedding of the video, which meant that in the situation, I was unable to embed the video onto Jack Fawsitt Photography. To solve the issue, I removed the offending song and now the video has the copyright claim removed from it, although the video is now complete silence. Amazingly enough, it took the video almost 2 years to receive the copyright claim from upload.

Anyway apart from that, I would like to announce something fun. Since I am currently in the United States of America, I thought I would compare life in the UK to the US. So in the following survey, you will be able to decide whether I do special posts illustrating the differences between the British and American ways of life.

In addition, I now have a new article available for viewing, about another trip to Matheson Hammock Park last weekend.

Thunder and lightning

This is just a quick bonus post for Jack Fawsitt Photography, since this post is too short to have its own article.

On 17 July 2017, I took this photograph of a looming thunderstorm, which is typical in South Florida during the summertime:

Basically, the point of the photo was that after a quick shopping trip at our local shopping centre, we then decided to go to our local supermarket to get some bread, since we ran out of bread in the house. Prior to entering the supermarket though, the weather was turning nasty and so I snapped this image.

Amazingly enough, as we was walking home from the supermarket to go home, a massive bolt of lightning occurred that must have lasted for at least 2 or 3 seconds!

Even more amazing, is it I am writing this post during a thunderstorm right now.

I'm back to posting

Sorry for the considerable absence from Jack Fawsitt Photography, but I am now back to developing this blog.

The reason why I was unable to develop this blog in the past was because I am still getting used to Miami and the surrounding area, in terms of both the geography and the culture of the city. Overall I am having a brilliant experience in Miami now that I am used to the culture and geography of the city.

That being said, there are many more different things to see within Miami, and when I do get to see them, they will each have their own article on this blog.
