On November 18, 2017; I went to South Beach in Miami, Florida (United States). We arrived at around 11:30 AM and walked due South towards the southernmost point of Miami Beach: South Pointe Pier. The pier juts out into the sea, and gives large vantage points over Miami Beach. From here, it is pretty evident that the further South you go, the less busy the beach gets. Although to be fair, these pictures were taken in November, and so it is unclear whether this rule of thumb is consistent throughout the year.
Afterwards, we headed due West, through a park [South Pointe Park] and then had views over the Port of Miami and Downtown Miami. The day concluded by walking back towards the main section of South Beach along Ocean Drive, going back on the bus and then spending a ridiculous amount of time stuck in traffic going home.
